The Los Angeles Fire Department has rezoned our community into a Severe Fire Zone. This affects many things, including insurance and property taxes, and notices have been sent out by the fire department to all those affected within our community. It is important that you both read and understand the implications of these changes.

There will be a meeting to protest these changes.

A resident on Walnut witnessed a coyote jumping a fence. Please always be aware of your surroundings, and watch out for pets.

Our annual board meeting has been moved to Wednesday, June 25th at 7pm to give all residents more time to review the packets that were mailed last week. Please be sure to fill out your proxy vote forms if you are not able to attend.

Gate cards are not yet available, as we have had issues with several batches we’ve recently ordered. We’re working with the vendor to repair the exit gate, which is having trouble closing on windy days, and to get new gate cards that work so that we can provide them to those that need them. As a reminder, we do have gate remotes available. Both gate cards and remotes are $10 each and payable by check made out to GHE or Godde Hill Estates.

Residents have had mailboxes broken into and mail stolen. Please check your mail regularly, and be on the lookout for suspicious behavior.

We recently had an over-enthusiastic visitor ram the entrance gate with their truck. We’re currently looking into it, and we will be reordering repairs. Please remember to reduce your speed when entering through an open gate and DO NOT use this gate as an exit. Please be patient and respectful of your neighbors.
